Banana Bread

Banana bread is a type of quick bread made from mashed, overripe bananas mixed into a batter with flour, sugar, eggs, and fat, leavened with baking soda, and baked in a loaf pan. It's known for its moist, tender crumb, sweet banana flavor, and is often made with add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips.

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a bread loaf pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together 8 Tbsp softened butter and 3/4 cup sugar (or honey if using honey).

3. Mash bananas with a fork until the consistency of chunky applesauce and add them to the batter along with 2 eggs, mixing until blended.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together: 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking soda and 1/2 tsp of salt then add to batter.

5. Add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and mix in chopped walnuts and raisins. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Bake at 350˚F for 55-60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let banana bread rest for 10 min before transferring to a wire rack to cool.

3. New York Times Cooking has a clear website as well for their recipe pages. The ingredients and instructions are placed side by side, which creates an easy user experience as you can see the exact measurements while you cook as opposed to scrolling up and down. Additionally, the prep times and cook times are listed at the top alongide the rating, making it easy for quick-glance recipe browsing.

1. Lacoste has a well designed website that is clear to navigate. There is clear visual hierarchy and each product page as a large image and clear description.

2. Zillow has a very clear user flow, where users can either look up addresses or browse houses with certain filters. Additionally, it reccomends houses in the neighborhood based your active location, which is insightful for the user.

3. Hubspot has a clear visual layout, similar to that of NYT Cooking, where recent articles take up a lot of space and featured articles/ past articles take a lower hierarchy. Additionally, the authors and publish dates are clearly listed under each blog post, making it easy to browse by author or date.
